What a fantastic song. I can’t believe someone actually thought that the horrible Jack White song is better than this one. The new Shirley Bassey album also contains a new John Barry song, which is always great news.
Here is also another nice song named “Forever (I am all yours)” by the virtually unknown Christian Wolf and Eva Almer that they say they had suggested to the producers but was rejected:
Casino Royale was such a fantastic package overall because of the way it integrated the song into the score. Quantum of Solace is solid, entertaining music but it does suffer from not having a strong backbone theme. But that ain’t Arnold’s fault. Blame it on Broccoli.
wow I cant believe , it contains one of the motifs Arnold used in the Quantum Of Solace score! And it does sound pretty nice as well, I love Shirley Bassey’s raspy sexy voice! Although Alicia Keys and the other dude did some effort trying to pull it off this one fits better!
